Data deletion
Last updated: September 08, 2026
How to request deletion of your data from Strice, what happens in each case, and how to revoke access on the Meta, Google and Microsoft side. No step on this page requires a login.
1. What gets deleted
A deletion in Strice removes personal data from our production databases and our file storage, along with the derived copies used for search, counts and caching. Backups are overwritten on the normal rotation cycle.
The route depends on your role, because in many cases we are only the processor: the company that subscribed to Strice is the one who decides about the data. The next two sections separate those.
2. If you are a contact, lead or client of a company that uses Strice
Your data was recorded by that company, which is its controller. We merely host it on their behalf.
- Ask the company that contacted you directly. They can delete the record immediately, inside the platform.
- If you cannot identify or reach that company, write to privacidade@strice.com.br with enough detail to locate the record (for example the phone number or email address they used to reach you, and the company name if you know it).
- We forward the request to the controller, follow it up, and confirm the outcome to you.
If the conversation happened over WhatsApp, see also Meta / WhatsApp.
3. If you use or administer the platform
3.1 Delete your user account
Ask your organisation's administrator, who can deactivate and delete your user in the member settings. If you would rather deal with us directly, write to privacidade@strice.com.brfrom the email address registered on the account.
Deleting a user removes the profile, picture, preferences and notification subscriptions. The work records that person produced for the organisation (tasks, proposals, messages sent on the company's behalf) stay with the organisation, because they belong to it and not to the individual.
3.2 Delete the entire organisation account
The request must come from an account owner and be sent to privacidade@strice.com.br. We verify identity before acting, because the operation is irreversible and destroys the whole company's data.
Deletion removes clients, leads, conversations, files, projects, documents and connected integrations. We provide a data export beforehand on request.
3.3 Disconnect an integration
Under Settings → Integrations in the platform. On disconnect we immediately delete that provider's access and refresh tokens. Data already synchronised stays in the organisation's account until deleted separately.
4. Meta / WhatsApp
We have no access to your personal WhatsApp account and cannot delete anything inside it. What exists on the Strice side is the copy of the conversation in the account of the company that served you.
- To delete the conversation in Strice: ask the company that served you, or write to privacidade@strice.com.br giving the phone number used in the conversation. We delete the stored messages, media, display name and profile picture.
- To disconnect a WhatsApp number from the platform (if you are the administrator): disconnect under Settings → Integrations, then revoke the app's access at business.facebook.com → Business settings → Apps.
5. Google
Two independent actions. Do both if you want a complete stop:
- Revoke the app's access in your Google Account, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. This stops any further reads immediately.
- Delete what was already synchronised: disconnect the integration in the platform, or write to privacidade@strice.com.br. This removes imported events, calendar links and stored Meet transcripts.
Revoking access at Google does not by itself delete what was already synchronised, hence both steps.
6. Microsoft
- Revoke the app's access at myapps.microsoft.com or in your Microsoft account permissions. On work accounts, an Entra ID administrator can revoke consent for the whole organisation.
- Delete what was already synchronised: disconnect the integration in the platform, or write to privacidade@strice.com.br. This removes imported Outlook events and stored Teams transcripts.
7. Timelines
| Action | Timeline |
|---|---|
| Integration disconnect (tokens deleted) | Immediate |
| Acknowledgement of the request | Within 3 business days |
| Response to a data subject request (LGPD art. 18) | Within 15 days |
| User account deletion | Within 15 days |
| Organisation account deletion | Within 30 days |
| Overwrite in backups | Within 30 days of deletion |
8. What is not deleted
Only records the law requires us to keep, or that support legal rights:
- Application access logs: 6 months, required by art. 15 of the Brazilian Internet Act.
- Tax and financial documents: for the periods set by applicable tax legislation.
- Audit trail: 18 months. It records that an action happened and who took it; it is what makes a security incident investigable, which is why it cannot be erased at the request of whoever generated it.
- Data needed to defend a legal claim: for the duration of the proceedings or the limitation period.
These records are blocked from any other use and are erased once the period ends.
